2022 KCSE Results Release

Education Cabinet Secretary Hon. Ezekiel Machogu and KNEC CEO Dr. David Njeng'ere announced the release of the 2022 KCSE results on January 20, 2023.

Hon. Machogu congratulated the candidates who had passed the exams and urged them to keep studying hard. He said that the government was committed to providing quality education to all Kenyans.

Dr. Njeng'ere also congratulated the candidates and praised the work of the KNEC staff. He said that the overall pass rate for the 2022 KCSE exams was 88.3%, up from 85.06% in 2021. He said that this was a testament to the hard work of the candidates and the teachers who had prepared them.

Both the CS and CEO acknowledged the challenges that had been faced in the lead-up to the exams, including the COVID-19 pandemic. However, they said that the KNEC had worked hard to ensure that the exams were fair and that the results were accurate.
